Wear Your PJ's...Fight Cancer!

PJammin is a way that your school or workplace can join in the fight to beat childhood cancer. Organize a school or workplace PJammin Day and wear your PJ’s to school or work for a minimum donation of $1.00 per participant. Each event helps raise money to support American Childhood Cancer Organization’s programs and research initiatives.

All participating schools will receive a copy of each of ACCO’s books for their school library.  Books include:The Amazing HannahChemo, Craziness and ComfortOliver’s Story; and Educating the Child with Cancer.

Each year, more than 13,000 children in America are diagnosed with cancer. Children with cancer can spend from months to years in the hospital dressed in their PJ’s as they undergo treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Children with cancer depend on others to help them through this difficult time in their lives. They need their family and friends to embrace them with information, support, and hope. Friends at school and workplace colleagues can show their support by organizing a PJammin Day in honor of those afflicted by the leading disease killer of America’s children.

American Childhood Cancer Organization (formerly Candlelighters) has been providing information, support, and hope to children and adolescents with cancer and their families since 1970.  All books and services are provided without charge to the children and their families. More about ACCO...
